Fatalities are reported within three days
The state has arrested 30 people, including three journalists, including the director general of the police. Four of them had been arrested.
"Police were on the lookout when five girls (girls 15, 16 and 17 year-old) tried to run the girl, and they made the threat but were stopped.
The police said on its website that it has arrested 30 offenders but they are investigating.
Two other police officers were arrested during the attack in Amman.
Two of the women have been released from the hospital and released without charge. Three remained in detention.
Meanwhile, a police officer is in critical condition.
The officer told Saudi state news agency Sabah that he was in the area when the suspect fired a shot.
A witness to the shooting, Mohammad El-Din Al Khudaira, said that the suspected attacker was firing "to see if she could do it (for herself or for others)".
The attacker then launched three more shots at the girl, who was shot in the leg on the spot.
In the video, the attacker's right arm and left hand became wounded and a bullet fired from her right wrist was observed.
The attacker then fired two more shots at the girl, which was also shot in the leg.
